North Carolina surgeon performs hospital’s first robotic knee replacement

Clyde, N.C.-based Haywood Regional Medical Center now offers robot-assisted knee replacement surgery, according to an Oct. 26 report by The Mountaineer.

Orthopedic surgeon Arnold Silverberg, MD, performed the first case in October, the report said.
