Monogram Orthopaedics’ new robot reaches milestone

Monogram Orthopaedics’ next surgical robot reached the verification phase in its commercialization path, the company said Aug. 14.

At this phase, the robot will be tested for its accuracy and reproducability, according to a news release. The company’s team will identify and address any snags in its function.

After the verfication phase, the robot will be tests in real-world scenarios with surgeons.

Monogram Orthopaedics aims to have the robot ready for surgeries in 2024.
