Monogram Technologies earned FDA 510(k) clearance for its Monogram mBôs robot, according to a March 17 news release.
The system is designed for total knee replacement and will be able to support more orthopedic applications. Monogram plans an initial launch of the system with key surgeons across different regions.
“We anticipate this clearance will open new opportunities for Monogram,” Monogram CEO Ben Sexson said in the release. “As we move toward commercialization, we will continue refining our strategy and engaging in discussions to support broader adoption.”
