Missouri practice surpasses 100 procedures with Medtronic spine robot

Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph (Mo.) recently surpassed 100 robotic surgeries with the Medtronic’s Mazor X, reports News Press Now.

Three things to know:

1. The spine robot enables spine surgeons to create personalized 3D surgical plans before surgery.

2. The device also assists surgeons with the accurate implantation of pedicle screws.

3. MLC is one of two hospitals in the area offering procedures with the robot.
