Along with ExcelsiusGPS, Lee Health’s robotic surgery program includes the da Vinci Xi system, according to an April 14 news release. The new spine robot can be used for some brain surgeries as well.

ExcelsiusGPS combines a robotic arm with full navigation capabilities. It allows surgeons to operate using a small incision and can help patients recover quicker.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
