Las Vegas hospital adds spine robot

Las Vegas-based Southern Hills Hospital has added robotic-assisted technology for spine surgeries, according to a Dec. 11 report from ABC affiliate KTNV.

The first robot-assisted spinal surgery at the hospital was performed by surgeon Kornelis Poelstra, MD, PhD. 

Robotic-assisted procedures offer patients improved precision, safety and outcomes.
