Elon Musk’s Neuralink raises $205M in funding

Neuralink, Elon Musk’s brain technology company, raised $205 million in series C funding, Forbes reported Aug. 8.

Funding came from investors including Vy Capital, Google Ventures, Valor Equity Partners and Craft Ventures. Previous investors have included PayPal’s co-founder Ken Howery, and Blake Byers of Byers Capital.

Neuralink’s neural interface is expected to enable someone with paralysis to operate a smartphone with their mind. Neuralink has a surgical robot for neuroscience.
