Dr. Ian Madom completes 300th robot-assisted surgery

Ian Madom, MD, completed his 300th robotic-assisted surgery with the ExcelciusGPS.

Dr. Madom is a spine surgeon at Providence-based Ortho Rhode Island. 

The landmark surgery was performed using Globius Medical’s ExcelciusGPS technology, according to a June 16 LinkedIn post. Dr. Madom used the minimally invasive technique to install Globius Medical’s CREO Midline Cortical Screw Stabilization System and RISE IntraLIF expandable interbody spacer.
