Dr. Benjamin Burch debuts SeaSpine’s navigation system at Mississippi hospital

Benjamin Burch, MD, became the first surgeon in northern Mississippi to use SeaSpine’s Flash navigation system, according to a Nov. 30 announcement in the Oxford Eagle.

Dr. Burch used the technology at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. The Flash navigation system is radiation-free and uses machine-vision cameras and algorithms for image-guided surgery.

Dr. Burch is a spine surgeon with Oxford (Miss.) Orthopaedics.
