Bayhealth is the first hospital in Delaware to install the ExcelsiusGPS system, according to Bayhealth medical director for neurosurgery Dawn Tartaglione, DO. Three neurosurgeons are currently trained on the ExcelsiusGPS system to perform minimally invasive spine surgeries.
“Patients do not have to travel far now for state-of-the-art care that we can give them using this robotic system,” Dr. Tartaglione said.
