Three things to know:
1. Noojan Kazemi, MD, performed the first procedure with the robot.
2. The robot improves operational accuracy and reduces the invasiveness of spine surgery.
3. Dr. Kazemi said that while the robot has several features he was excited about , the promise of the robot’s capabilities is what he finds most appealing, particularly its use as a teaching tool for future clinicians.
