Soda Springs, Idaho-based Caribou Medical Center has added two new surgical robots in the last year, according to a May 15 report from the Idaho State Journal.

Last fall, the system added the da Vinci surgical robot for joint replacements, and this week the center added Stryker's Mako robot.

Orthopedic surgeon Nathan Richardson, MD, performed the first hip replacement using the Stryker device.
