Zimmer Biomet sees 5% revenue growth in Q3

Zimmer Biomet on Nov. 7 posted $1.7 billion in third quarter net sales.

Five things to know:

1. Quarterly net sales grew 5% year-over-year, according to a news release.

2. Knee sales were $706.3 million, a 7.5% increase year-over-year.

3. Hip sales fell 0.6% year-over-year with $465.3 million.

4. Sports medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic sales rose 3.3% year-over-year with $423.2 million.

5. Zimmer Biomet is raising its full-year guidance and expects 2023 revenue to increase 6.5% to 7% compared to 2022 sales.
