Virginia orthopedic foundation raises $55K: 4 details

Warrenton, Va.-based Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center’s Blue Ridge Orthopaedic Foundation raised $55,000 for 25 community-based nonprofit organizations, according to Fauquier Now.

Here are four details:

1. Blue Ridge Orthopaedic Foundation organized its annual Bodies in Motion race Nov. 4.

2. Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center established the foundation in 2012 to help provide medical relief, food, shelter and children’s services to charities in the community.

3. Within the past four years, the foundation has raised more than $160,000 for local organizations.

4. The orthopedic and spine center provides foot and ankle, joint replacement, anterior hip replacement, shoulder and spine services.
