The gift will help fund the construction of the University of Arizona Cancer Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center-Dignity Health outpatient facility in Phoenix, and it will offer comprehensive cancer services. The new cancer facility is a partnership between the UA and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Ram Krishna is an orthopedic surgeon focusing on bone and joint conditions. The gift was made in memory of Dr. Meera Krishna’s sister, Dr. Mandira Jalajakshi, who was a physician practicing in England.
