U.S. News & World Report: Hospital for Special Surgery top hospital in the country for orthopedics

Hospital for Special Surgery, in New York, once again tops U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of the country’s best hospitals in the orthopedics category.

The hospital has earned the top ranking for the past seven years. The hospital also moved up a spot in rheumatology to No. 2.

 

In 2015, the hospital cared for more than 150,000 pediatric and adult patients. Additionally, the hospital treats professional athletes including several U.S. olympians.

 

Hospital for Special Surgery CEO Louis Shapiro lauded the ranking saying “We are proud to be recognized as the leader in orthopedics with unparalleled consistency.”
