Tulane Health System names new VP of orthopedics, surgery

New Orleans-based Tulane Health System promoted Ben Hughes to vice president of orthopedics and surgery, The Advocate reports.

1. Mr. Hughes will be responsible for growth and operational initiatives in his new role.

2. He came to Tulane in 2016, serving as the practice manager of the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine. He was then promoted to director of Tulane’s ambulatory clinics in 2018.

3. Mr. Hughes has a master’s degree in health administration from Tulane.
