Dr. Frazier, MD, a surgeon with UAMS had a knee replacement done by Lowry Barnes, MD, the hospital said in an Aug. 11 news release. After a few weeks post-surgery, Dr. Frazier was back to operating on his own patients.
“Somebody has got to be the first, and I’m doing it just to show I have confidence in the people who built the building, the surgeons, the staff, and everyone involved, down to our sterile processing department,” Dr. Frazier said in the release.
The hospital has more than 158,000 square feet, 24 private rooms, 12 operating rooms, eight exam rooms and two procedure rooms.
