St. Mary’s Orthopedic Specialists, part of Athens, Ga.-based St. Mary’s Health Care System, has added David Woodbury, MD.
Dr. Woodbury is an orthopedic sports surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in military and private practice, according to a March 2 news release from St. Mary’s Health Care System.
He joins St. Mary’s from Longstreet Clinic in Gainesville, Ga., where he had served as an orthopedic sports medicine and adult reconstruction since 2021.
After serving in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Woodbury was president and CEO of Lakeside Orthopaedic Center in Manning, S.C., for 10 years.
Dr. Woodbury is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the release said.
