Shoulder Innovations’ Q3 revenue climbs 58%: 5 financial notes

Medtech company Shoulder Innovations reported total revenue of $11.8 million in the third quarter, according to a Nov. 11 news release from the company. 

Here are five more notes on the company’s performance:

  1. The $11.8 million in revenue represents a 58% increase over the third quarter of 2024. 
  2. In the third quarter of 2025, the company sold 1,584 total implant systems, an increase of more than 50% over the prior year quarter. 
  3. Shoulder Innovations reported an operating loss of $7.6 million in the third quarter of 2025, compared to a loss of $3.9 million in the third quarter last year. 
  4. The increase in operating losses was mainly driven by increased operating expenses and changes in the fair value of the company’s preferred stock warrant liability and convertible notes.
  5. The company expects the 2025 full year revenue to be between $45 million and $46 million, which would be an increase of more than 40% compared to 2024 revenue.
