Shore Orthopaedic University Associates establishes scholarship in memory of Dr. Gregory Voit

Somers Point, N.J.-based Shore Orthopaedic University Associates created a scholarship in memory of Gregory A. Voit, MD, who died in a plane crash in 2013, according to a Shore News Today report.

The scholarship was established at Stockton University in Galloway, N.J., and is called the Stockton Foundation Scholarship. It will be given to a full-time undergraduate student from Atlantic or Cape May County studying at Stockton University’s School of Health Sciences.

 

Dr. Voit focused on hand surgery as well as micro-vascular and micro-neural surgeries. He had also served as an orthopedic and hand surgeon for the 101st Airborne, Air Assault Division at Ft Campbell, Ky.
