1. With the addition of Dr. Benz, Providence now offers full-time orthopedic care. Dr. Benz has served as a visiting surgeon with Providence Seaside Hospital for 27 years.
2. Dr. Benz specializes in knee, hip and shoulder replacements.
3. With 23 years of experience in emergency trauma surgery, Dr. Benz also served as a sports medicine physician for 25 years.
4. After receiving his medical degree from the Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Dr. Benz went on to complete an internship and residency at Maricopa County Medical Center in Phoenix. He then completed a trauma and children’s joint replacement fellowship at OHSU.
