Robert Boyd, MD, a former chief of the spine service at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital, died at age 94, according to a Jan. 30 obituary.

Zimmer Biomet has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Paragon 28, a medical device company focused exclusively on foot-and-ankle orthopedics. 

Woodland Park, Colo.-based Pikes Peak Orthopedics has formed a partnership with Colorado-based Community Paramedics, according to a Jan. 27 report from the Pikes Peak Courier.
