Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Samuel Hoisington of Hudson Valley Bone & Joint Surgeons

Specializing in upper and lower extremity fractures, Samuel A. Hoisington, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. He holds a special interest in managing sports-related foot and ankle injuries, and specializes in repairing bunions and other foot and ankle deformities. He has been a part of Hudson Valley Bone & Joint Surgeons for the last 14 years.

After earning his medical degree from Albany (N.Y.) Medical College, Dr. Hoisington completed his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

 
He completed his foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Philadelphia-based Allegheny University Medical Center in Philadelphia.
