Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Roy Davidovitch of NYU Langone Health

Roy Davidovitch, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at New York City-based NYU Langone Health.

Dr. Davidovitch is NYU Langone Health’s Julia Koch Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Hip Center director.

He was selected to lead the multidisciplinary same-day discharge hip replacement program NYU Langone Health instituted in 2015.

With a focus on hip preservation, Dr. Davidovitch has successfully performed more than 2,000 anterior approach total hip replacement procedures using a specialized surgical table.

After graduating from the University of Chicago, Dr. Davidovitch completed a residency at New York City-based New York University and a fellowship at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital.
