Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Michael Millis of Boston Children’s Hospital

Michael Millis, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Boston Children’s Hospital.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Millis is a professor at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He specializes in developmental dysplasia, hip impingement, septic infectious arthritis and trauma surgery.

 

Dr. Millis’ research is published in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery and Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.

 

Dr. Millis earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Harvard Medical School. He went on to complete the AO Fellowship program under Heinz Wagner, MD, in Altdorf, Germany.
