Dr. Cross initially joined HSS as a clinician-assistant and now has over 55 publications and the 2013 Frank Stinchfield Award from the Hip Society and the 2013 OREF/ORS Travel Award in Translational Research from the Orthopaedic Research Society, among other awards.
After graduating from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Dr. Cross completed his residency at HSS, where he won an award given to the Chief Resident who demonstrates leadership, professionalism and ethics in patient care. Dr. Cross went on to complete a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he won the Jorge O. Galante, MD Fellow Research Award.
