Dr. Fernandez’s research interests include scoliosis and spine surgery, arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscus injury and repair, shoulder instability and pediatric tumors.
She has co-authored articles on safety in the pediatric emergency department setting and on partial anterior cruciate ligament tears in children and adolescents.
After graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Fernandez completed a residency at Pittsburgh-based Pinnacle Health System and a fellowship at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta.
