Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Matthew Austin of The Rothman Institute

Matthew Austin, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at The Rothman Institute in Philadelphia.

Additionally, Dr. Austin serves as the director of joint replacement services and an associate professor at Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

 

Dr. Austin is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society.

 

After earning his medical degree from Philadelphia-based Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Austin completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He also underwent fellowship

training at The Rothman Institute.
