With expertise in pediatric orthopedic surgery, Dr. Romness serves as an associate professor of clinical pediatrics at UVA Health.
Dr. Romness’ additional specialties include cerebral palsy, musculoskeletal conditions and fractures of the elbow, growth plate and femur.
He has authored research on pediatric foot and ankle problems as well as functional mobility for the Journal of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine and Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics.
After earning his medical degree from and completing his residency at Chicago-based Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Romness underwent pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
