Jeffrey Ackman, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Shriners Hospital for Children — Chicago.

Dr. Ackman is also affiliated with Chicago-based Rush University School of Medicine, where he serves as an assistant professor. He is an orthopedic surgery instructor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.

With expertise in pediatric orthopedic surgery, Dr. Ackman is the co-medical director of Chicago Shriners Hospital's motion analysis center. He also runs the hospital's prosthetics clinic. Previously, Dr. Ackman served as chief of staff at Chicago Shriners Hospital.

A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, Dr. Ackman is also a member of the Illinois Orthopaedic Society and American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.

After earning his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Ackman completed his residency at Rush Presbyterian — St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. He underwent pediatric orthopedic surgery and scoliosis fellowship training at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
