Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Stone served as a team physician for the U.S. Ski Team. His work is published in Arthroscopy and the Journal of Sports Traumatology and Related Research.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy, Orthopaedic Research Society and International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
After earning his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, Dr. Stone completed his residency at Boston-based Harvard University. He underwent fellowship training at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.
