Dr. Callaghan previously served as a professor in the department of bioengineering at Duke University in Durham, N.C. Several leading publications including Journal of Arthroplasty have published Dr. Callaghan’s research.
He earned his medical degree from Chicago-based Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Callaghan underwent his residency at the University of Iowa. He went on to complete a hip fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and an orthopedic surgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
