Dr. Cooper joined DOCS Spine + Orthopedics in August. He specializes in sports medicine and shoulder, elbow, hip and knee treatments.
Dr. Cooper serves as a physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams. In the past, he has treated professional athletes and provided physician coverage for local football and soccer teams.
Dr. Cooper received his medical degree from the Chicago-based University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he graduated with honors. He went on to complete a residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and a fellowship at The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colo.
