Dr. Guild’s clinical interests include direct anterior hip arthroplasty, outpatient total hip arthroplasty, complex primary hip arthroplasty, revision knee arthroplasty, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and computer-navigated total knee arthroplasty. His research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, such as The Journal of Arthroplasty and Orthopedic Clinics of North America. He is one of the first surgeons in Georgia to routinely perform outpatient total hip and knee replacements.
Dr. Guild earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta. He completed his adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship at Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York.
