Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Geoffrey Westrich of Hospital for Special Surgery

Geoffrey Westrich, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and research director of adult reconstruction and joint replacement services at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Performing more than 500 hip and knee replacement surgeries each year, Dr. Westrich is the co-chairman of the Complex Case Review Panel at HSS. He is also a clinical professor at Weill Medical College in New York City.

 

Dr. Westrich is board certified in orthopedic surgery. His work is published in the Journal of Arthroplasty, Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research and Journal of Orthopedic Trauma.

 

After earning his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Dr. Westrich completed his residency at Hospital for Special Surgery. He also underwent fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Hospital for Special Surgery.
