Hampton Regional Medical Center welcomes orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Elvington: 3 things to know

Orthopedic surgeon Robert Elvington, MD, joined Varnville, S.C.-based Hampton Regional Medical Center, according to The Hampton County Guardian.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. Dr. Elvington is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder and knee reconstruction with a focus on rotator cuff disease and knee arthritis.

 

2. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

 

3. Before coming to HRMC, Dr. Elvington worked at Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health and Pee Dee Orthopedic Associates as well as Orthopedic Specialists of Charleston and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
