Dr. Sterling focuses on hip and knee replacements, and he has expertise in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. His clinical interests also include post-traumatic hip and knee arthritis, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and treatment of avascular necrosis of the femoral head. His research work has been published in prestigious publications, such as Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.
After earning his medical degree at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Sterling completed his residency and an orthopedic traumatology fellowship at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
