Orthopedic surgeon leader to know: Dr. Paul Pollice of OAA Orthopaedic Specialists

Paul F. Pollice, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at OAA Orthopaedic Specialists, a practice with four locations throughout Pennsylvania. His clinical interests include the treatment of hip and knee conditions.

Dr. Pollice performs roughly 600 hip and knee joint replacement procedures each year, and was the first certified physician in his region to perform total knee replacement using computer-assisted surgery. Building on his expertise, he lectures on various hip and knee replacement techniques throughout the country. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and holds memberships with American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, Pennsylvania Medical Society and Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society.

 

He earned his medical degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at New York-based University of Rochester and an adult reconstruction and total joint fellowship at Philadelphia-based Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
