Dr. Freeman is a fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He is a team orthopedist for multiple teams in Montgomery, including Faulkner University, Auburn University at Montgomery and the minor league baseball team Montgomery Biscuits. Dr. Freeman has also served as a flight surgeon at the Sumter, S.C.-based Shaw Air Force Base and as chief of orthopedics at the Montgomery-based Maxwell Air Force Base regional hospital.
He earned his medical degree at Augusta University’s Medical College of Georgia, where he also did his residency in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Freeman went on to complete a trauma fellowship in Liestal, Switzerland.
