He practices at two Summit Orthopedics locations: Eagan Clinic and Woodbury Clinic, both of which are located in Minnesota. His research, which has been published in journals like Foot and Ankle Clinics, focuses on conditions of the ankle and foot. He holds memberships with American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Castro earned his medical degree at University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He went on to complete residency training Mount Clemens-based Michigan State University, an orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship at Maine-based Portland Foot and Ankle Center and an AO/ASIF Fellowship in Bellinzona, Switzerland.
