In particular, Dr. Albert’s clinical interests revolve around joint replacement techniques, like anterior approach to hip replacements, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and patient-specific custom knee replacements. She is affiliated with Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Ga., and holds memberships with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and Orthopaedic Trauma Association, among other professional societies.
Dr. Albert earned her medical degree at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wis., where she also performed residency training. She went on to complete two fellowships: an orthopedic traumatology fellowship at Atlanta-based Emory University and an AO/ASIF trauma fellowship in Munich, Germany.
