He serves as head team physician for University of North Carolina at Charlotte and as an orthopedic physician for several NASCAR teams. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Fleischli is also the director of OrthoCarolina’s sports medicine fellowship program and a reviewer for American Journal of Sports Medicine. He holds memberships with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and International Cartilage Repair Society, among other professional societies.
Dr. Fleischli earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas Medical Center and a sports medicine fellowship at Birmingham, Ala.-based American Sports Medicine Institute.
