Orthopedic surgeon leader to know: Dr. G. Brian Holloway of Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic

G. Brian Holloway, MD, has been practicing with Knoxville (Tenn.) Orthopaedic Clinic since 1998. Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic is a part of OrthoTennessee. Dr. Holloway is a member of the Global Shoulder Society and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. He serves as a shoulder surgery instructor for American Academy Orthopaedic Surgeons courses.

Dr. Holloway’s clinical interests include arthritic conditions of the shoulder and elbow, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability and sports injuries. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. His research work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications.

 

After earning his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Holloway completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Akron City Hospital/St. Thomas Hospital/Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. He completed his shoulder and elbow fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System/Penn Musculoskeletal Institute in Philadelphia.
