Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Eberhart retires after 36 years

Robert Eberhart, MD, of Portsmouth, N.H.-based Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine retired, according to a Jan. 4 announcement shared by the The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth.

Dr. Eberhart’s career spanned 36 years. He was one of the founders of Atlantif Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and served as the practice’s leader for more than 35 years.

“I have enjoyed my career tremendously,” Dr. Eberhart, a hand surgeon, wrote in a letter to patients. “I have taken great pride and have received great joy in doing my best to help all of my patients. I also have been fortunate to work with a group of outstanding healthcare professionals to build Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine into the excellent orthopedic practice that it is today.”
