Orthopedic AR company taps VP of sales

Pixee Medical, a developer of augmented reality navigation technologies for orthopedic surgery, has tapped Josh Hagel as its vice president of U.S. sales.

Mr. Hagel will be responsible for leading Pixee’s U.S.-based sales team, developing new business opportunities and increasing brand awareness, according to an Oct. 29 press release. 

He will also establish new distribution channels, form strategic partnerships and drive brand awareness. 

Mr. Hagel formerly served as business manager at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, managing revenue for the implant and Velys digital surgery divisions.

Mr. Hagel’s appointment follows a $15 million fundraising effort from Pixee, according to the release.
