4. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Mathers is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

5. After receiving his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Mathers completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center and Shriners’ Hospital in Greenville, S.C.

 

6. Dr. Mathers completed a sports medicine fellowship at Baylor University School of Medicine in Houston.
