Hammond, La.-based North Oaks Health System has added fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon Tyler Scott, MD, to its North Oaks Orthopedic Specialty Center, according to an Aug. 4 report by The Daily Star.
A Hammond native, Dr. Scott specializes in hip and knee joint reconstruction surgery and previously worked as an operating room assistant at North Oaks Medical Center. He completed his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, residency at University of Colorado in Denver and an adult reconstruction fellowship at Nashville, Tenn.-based Southern Joint Replacement Institute.
North Oaks Orthopedic Specialty Center has locations in Hammond and Livingston, La.
