Jeffrey Dugas, MD, operated on Boston Red Sox infielder/outfielder Romy Gonzalez on March 12, the team said.
Dr. Dugas performed a left shoulder arthroscopic debridement on Mr. Gonzalez.
The procedure was completed at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center in Birmingham.
