New Jersey orthopedic surgeon provides free foot care, winter shoes for the homeless: 4 details

East Orange, N.J.-based Tri-County Orthopedics’ Michael Goldberger, MD, provided free foot health examinations, routine care and new winter shoes to those experiencing homelessness in the area Nov. 18.

1.For the event, Tri-County Orthopedics partnered with the Isaiah House, a local organization that offers permanent lodging, meals, social and financial services to families and individuals in N.J.-based Essex County.

2.With expertise in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Goldberger serves as director of Tri-County Orthopedics’ foot and ankle center.

3.He specializes in tendon and ligament ankle disorders as well as traumatic injuries including fractures.

4.Dr. Goldberger has provided medical care at the event for nine consecutive years.
